The spectacular array of technological innovations and creations resumed with the unveiling of the Day 2 of the IT Fest on 2 September 2022 at DPS, Nacharam.
The great initiative was taken by the chairman Mr. M Komaraiah, Director Mrs. Pallavi, Principal Ms. Sunitha Rao, and the Computer Science department of DPS, Nacharaminvolved 2,500 students from grades 8 to 12. A fantastic exhibition, consisting of 287 projects in the fields of Robotics, IOT, Space Technology, Data Science, Graphic Design, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Metaverse, and many more were showcased. Twelve eminent schools of Hyderabad visited on the Day 2 IT Fest and immersed themselves in the world of inquisitiveness.
The spirit of the valediction ceremony was marked by lighting the lamp followed by a mellifluous shloka chanting by the school choir to evoke the essence of devotion amongst the audience. An invigorating welcome address was delivered by the Principal, Ms. Sunitha Rao acclaiming the significant contribution of students to this technological expedition. The chief guest, Mr. Jayesh Ranjan IAS, and the guest of honour, Dr. K. Veera Brahmam, Deputy Director ASL DRDO were felicitated by the chairman Mr. M. Komaraiah and director Mrs. Pallavi. The chairman Mr. M.Komaraiah captivated the audience with his intriguing words and expressed how this amalgamation of the brightest minds facilitates the best educational practices in schools. A motivational speech was delivered by the guest of honour Dr. K. Veera Brahmam highlighting the opportunities provided by the school to nurture students' holistic growth. The chief guest, Mr. Jayesh Ranjan IAS, the Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Departments of the Telangana government, enunciated the positive impact of conducting the IT Fest and how it boosts children's individuality and futuristic vision. Projects like 'Wind Tunnel' and 'Face AI' were announced as the best projects and participants were given mementos.
